STATE Festival is a melting pot for a dynamic new scene of curious minds that bridge disciplines in order to explore and challenge the boundaries of present knowledge and shape ideas for our future. Fostering interdisciplinary collaborations and a critical dialogue on cutting-edge research that impacts society, STATE Festival creates a meeting ground for science and the public, where scientific inquiry meets artistic expression: open, participatory and interdisciplinary.

For its second edition [Berlin 3-5/11/16], STATE Festival 2016 invites scientists, artists, makers, thinkers, doers and the curious public to come together and explore a scientific topic that is of our most personal concern: emotion.
Our science fueled festival program will combine engaging talks and discussions, thematic films, thought-provoking artworks and performances; with immersive visitor experiences, workshops, installations, and multiple hands on formats to engage with current scientific developments at the intersection of emotions research and artificial intelligence.
