Praba Pilar and Janet Sarson will be joining the Interactive Arts Laboratory (InArts) - Node for Hybrid Arts (NoHA) at the Department of Audio & Visual Arts of the Ionian University in Corfu for an art research residency until March 2026.

InArts' Node for AI & Research (NoAIR) member Dr. Marily Argyrokastriti participated in the “My Gap Feel & Fill Festival,” held at the War Museum in Athens on 5–6 November 2025, representing the Ionian University’s contribution to this long-standing education event.

For the seventh consecutive year, the Ionian Contemporary Animation Festival ICONA 2025 is organized and promoted by the Department of Audio & Visual Arts of the Ionian University, with Professor Konstantinos Tiligadis, coordinator of the InArts' Node for Animation Art (NoAA), leading the overall festival direction.

The Volunteer Blood Donor Society of the Ionian University, in collaboration with the Blood Donation Department of the General Hospital of Corfu and the Medical–Surgical Society of Corfu, announces the organization of a voluntary blood donation day on Thursday, 13 November 2025, at the Galinós Building (former psychiatric hospital, Donatou Dimoulitsa 74), from 09:00 to 13:30. The initiative is supported by the Volunteer Blood Donors & Bone Marrow Donors Society of Corfu “Pandótis,” member of the Panhellenic Federation of Volunteer Blood Donor Associations.

The Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University actively participated once again this year in the Chania Film Festival through activities coordinated by Assistant Professor Dr. Iakovos Panagopoulos and PhD Candidate Lina Petrianou. The Department’s presence, within the framework of the ongoing collaboration between the Interactive Arts Lab (InArts) and the Festival, significantly contributed to strengthening the dialogue between education, research, and audiovisual creation.

InArts Lab proudly announces the participation of Dr. Adam Zaretsky, Art Coordinator of the Node for Hybrid Arts, in the event Art Science Salon: BioArt, hosted by the University of Puget Sound, USA in Oct 23, 2025. The Art Science Salon: BioArt is organized by Siddharth Ramakrishnan at the University of Puget Sound, fostering global exchange among educators, researchers, and artists engaged in interdisciplinary creative research.

Dr. Iakovos Panagopoulos, Assistant Professor in the Department of Audio and Visual Arts at the Ionian University, and Coordinator of the Node for Film Praxis at InArts Lab, participates as a member of the Editorial Board of the new international online practice-based research platform in narrative cinema titled StoryLab Conversations.

Professor Konstantinos Tiligadis, InArts Lab member, is participating with the artistic group Oxymoron in Platforms Project 2025 – Independent Art Fair, presenting the video installation "Ad Hominem".
