Node for AI & Research operates within the Interactive Arts Lab of the Department of Audio & Visual Arts at the Ionian University. Its aim is to explore the intersection between AI technologies and the humanities, research, and art-based creative practices. Specifically, the Node investigates how AI relates to artistic research, creativity, ethics, copyright, authorship, and the evolving concept of originality. It also covers research design, methodologies, and the integration of AI in information science, including accessibility tools and search strategies. The Node seeks to understand how AI can both influence and enhance research and artistic practices, fostering ethical and innovative applications within the academic and artistic communities.
