InArts Lab proudly announces the participation of Dr. Adam Zaretsky, Art Coordinator of the Node for Hybrid Arts (NoHA), in the Close Event “Hybrid DNA Isolation Bioart”, hosted by Lewis & Clark College, USA on Oct 29th 2025 15:30 PDT (Oct 30th 2025 01:30 EEST) .
This hands-on bioart lab explores the materiality of DNA through creative experimentation with everyday materials. Participants will learn how to extract and isolate hybrid DNA in a non-scientific context, revealing its poetic and aesthetic potential beyond the laboratory. The session aims to enhance public understanding of the relationship between DNA, food, and art, introducing biological matter as an artistic medium for new media creation.
The event is organized by the Departments of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Biology, and Arts at Lewis & Clark College.
