The Interactive Arts Laboratory (InArts) of the Department of Audio & Visual Arts of the Ionian University is pleased to share its participation as a partner institution in the 1st Panhellenic Interdisciplinary Conference “Game & Digital Culture in the City: Education, Tourism, Leisure”, taking place on 28–29 November 2025 at the Faculty of Philosophy, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
The conference brings together researchers, educators, artists, and practitioners to explore the evolving role of play, gamification, and digital culture in contemporary urban environments. Through sessions dedicated to education, social and ethical concerns, cultural experience, and applied digital practices, the event aims to foster dialogue across disciplines and encourage new approaches to understanding and designing play-based and digitally mediated experiences.
InArts contributes to this initiative through its continued commitment to hybrid arts research, digital culture studies, and the investigation of emerging creative methodologies. The laboratory is delighted to support conversations that highlight how play and digital technologies shape cultural reception, public engagement, and experiential learning within and beyond the city.
The full programme includes keynote presentations, thematic sessions, poster exhibitions, and opportunities for networking across the two-day event.
