TTTLabs Official VR World at The Wrong Biennale

The Interactive Arts Laboratory (InArts Lab) of the Ionian University is pleased to announce the launch of TTTLabs Official VR World, presented as part of Postorganic Futures at The Wrong Biennale, the world’s largest decentralized digital art biennale.
Developed within TTTlabs BioFeral.BeachCamp: New Repro-FlaOctomingopus – Non-Human Bioart/Bodyart on the Beach (Crete, Fall 2024), this virtual environment emerges from a durational research-led experiment that brought together artists, researchers, students, and technologists in a process of collective inquiry. The VR World now extends this co-creative energy into an accessible, immersive space where visitors can explore intersections of art, science, and speculative futures.
TTTLabs Official VR World draws on the ethos of Taboo–Transgression–Transcendence in Art & Science (TTT) and engages with urgent questions posed by contemporary biotechnological developments. Through performances, installations, and research-based texts, contributors reflect critically on reproductive technologies, transgenic germline interventions, artificial wombs, embryo grading, eco-burial, surrogacy, and more-than-human relations. The VR World offers a hybrid space where these themes are reframed through artistic imagination and ecological responsibility.
Developed through extensive use of AI-assisted image and video generation, 3D modeling, and hybrid research tools, the project expands human–nonhuman collaboration into the digital realm. It functions simultaneously as an exhibition and a research environment—an evolving archive of encounters and an invitation to experimental knowledge-sharing, interspecies thinking, and collective play.
The InArts Lab acknowledges the contribution of all participating creators and partners who collaboratively shaped this initiative.
