Culture

Members of the Interactive Arts Lab (InArts Lab) actively contribute to the development and implementation of major academic and cultural events, both in Corfu and internationally. A central example is the Audiovisual Arts Festival, one of the most recognized institutions in the field of contemporary audiovisual arts, bringing together creators, researchers, and students from Greece and abroad. Lab members participate in the organization of the festival as scientific coordinators, curators of exhibitions and events, and as creators, presenting student works as well as their own research and artistic projects.

At the same time, the activities of InArts Lab members extend to other major events, such as the Ionian Contemporary Animation Festival ICONA, where they contribute to the selection and presentation of films, the hosting and mentorship of emerging artists, and the scientific and artistic curation of the programs. Through such collaborations, the lab promotes the interaction between theory and practice, enhances the visibility of research and creative production, and connects the academic community with the broader cultural sphere.

In addition, InArts Lab organizes and supports educational activities, workshops, and seminars for students, professionals, and the public, highlighting the link between research, teaching, and contemporary artistic practice, while contributing to the development of a dynamic ecosystem for audiovisual, interactive, and hybrid arts both locally and beyond.
