The members of the Interactive Arts Lab belong to labs and research groups of various Greek universities such as the “Lab of New Technologies in Communication, Education and Mass Media” of the department of Communication and Mass Media Studies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (with a participation and publications of the research teams in “Usability and accessibility” as well as “Senior citizens, new digital media and intergenerational learning”).
The members of the lab also contribute to various activities of the Department of AVarts, such as the creation and formulation of the undergraduate curriculum. Furthermore, they contribute to the smooth flow of the implementation of the undergraduate studies through their participation in non-statutory committees like: the Curriculum Committee, the Internship Committee, the Organizing Committee of the Audiovisual Arts Festival, etc. The contribution of the members of the lab to the department as a whole, in some cases since its opening, but mainly the relevance of their scientific field in accordance with the object of study of the department of Audio and Visual Arts, is what makes clear the importance of their contribution to the organization of the Postgraduate degree curriculum.
