The Interactive Arts Laboratory (InArts Lab) of the Department of Audio & Visual Arts at the Ionian University will participate in the inaugural event of the Europe Direct Ionian Islands – PRAXI Network office entitled “Europe in the Region of the Ionian Islands,” which will take place on Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 11:00–14:00 at the Ionian Academy in Corfu.

As part of the section “Projects Implemented in the Region of the Ionian Islands,” Dr. Marily Argyrokastriti will present the experiences and outcomes of the Ionian University’s participation in the European project Rewilding Cultures, a Creative Europe programme exploring new forms of artistic research, collective learning, ecological thinking, and cultural collaboration through transdisciplinary practices connecting art, science, and society.

The presentation will highlight how InArts Lab contributes to the development of international collaborations, temporary artistic laboratories, educational initiatives, and participatory forms of creation that foster sustainability, inclusion, and cultural innovation in the Ionian Islands region and across Europe.

The event is organised by Europe Direct Ionian Islands – PRAXI Network and includes presentations of European projects, funding opportunities, and good practices from institutions active in the Region of the Ionian Islands.
