Professor Dr. Dalila Honorato, member of the Interactive Arts Research Lab (InArts) of the Department of Audio and Visual Arts at the Ionian University, participated as Archivist-in-Residence at Grace Exhibition Space in Kingston, New York, during July and August 2026.

The residency was developed in close collaboration with Jill McDermid and Erik Hokanson, founders of Grace Exhibition Space, and focused on archival research, documentation, and the preservation of artistic practices, particularly those associated with performance art and ephemeral artistic expression.

Through this research activity, Dalila Honorato explored the relationships between artistic memory, historical documentation, and archival methodologies, investigating the challenges of recording and preserving practices whose material and temporal characteristics often resist conventional forms of documentation.
