Dalila Honorato, Professor at the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University and Director of InArts Lab, participates in the international collective exhibition “Extraterrestrial Posthumanism,” hosted at EctopiaLab in Lisbon, Portugal.

The exhibition emerges from the artistic residencies of Stephanie Rothenberg and Kathy High, as well as Hege Tapio and Cosima Herter, bringing together an international group of artists and researchers, with the participation of, among others, Louise Mackenzie, Isabel Burr Raty, Karolina Żyniewicz, Robertina Šebjanič, Pavel Tavares και Dalila Honorato with the speculative documentary "Staying in Touch".

The exhibition explores how contemporary science, science fiction, and Bio Art can reshape our understanding of life by focusing on the most likely yet least represented forms of extraterrestrial existence: microorganisms and so-called “uncharismatic” organisms. Drawing on astrobiology, the project combines the exploration of scientifically plausible forms of extraterrestrial microbial life with new artistic creations, challenging anthropocentric assumptions and proposing alternative aesthetic and philosophical perspectives on life beyond Earth.

The exhibition was held from Friday, December 12, 2025, to Thursday, March 12, 2026, with an opening on December 11, 2025, at 18:00, at EctopiaLab, Rua José Sobral Cid 16, Lisbon.
