Dalila Honorato, Professor at the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University and Director of the Interactive Arts Research Lab (InArts), participates as a Management Committee Member in the European research network COST Action CA22149 – CHANGECODE: Research Network for Interdisciplinary Studies of Transhistorical Deliberative Democracy, which officially began on 12 October 2023 and will continue until 11 October 2027.
The CHANGECODE network, supported by COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology), brings together researchers from different European institutions and disciplines to investigate how historical practices of deliberation influence contemporary decision-making, cultural processes, and democratic participation. The network examines the relationships between past and present forms of dialogue, collective decision-making, and social negotiation, addressing questions of culture, cognition, legitimacy, and contemporary societal challenges.
Through its interdisciplinary approach, CHANGECODE also considers the role of art, cultural practices, and digital environments in shaping public discourse and collective understandings of participation and decision-making.
Dalila Honorato's ongoing involvement in the Management Committee contributes to the international research engagement of the Ionian University and InArts Lab, strengthening connections between artistic research, cultural studies, and interdisciplinary perspectives on dialogue, participation, and contemporary society.
