Dalila Honorato, Assoc. Prof. at the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University, participated as a guest speaker at the Matter of Flux Festival that took place in Berlin, on June 15-18, 2023.

Möbius strip is a mixed media performance concerned with the phenomenon of war which is here narrated under a poetic but also critical point of view. The performance has an approximate duration of 30 mins and takes place on 17th March 2023 at Polytechno.

While the call for proposals to the conference Taboo – Transgression - Transcendence in Art & Science 2023 taking place at the Malta Society of Arts in Valletta is open until the end of January 2023, the main core of the proceedings of TTT2020 Vienna/Online have just been released in an open access publication in digital format (e-Book), with ISBN number 978-960-7260-70-3.

The European Multidisciplinary Research Network on the Challenges and Uses of Information and Communication Technologies (EUTIC) is glad to announce the hybrid 17th edition of the EUTIC International Conference "In the Intersection of Art, Science and Technology: Dialogos between Humans and Machines", organized by the Department of Audio and Visual Arts, Ionian University (Greece).

The fifth international conference Taboo - Transgression - Transcendence in Art & Science will take place September 27–29, 2023 in Valletta, Malta. TTT is an interdisciplinary and nomadic event, where both practitioners as well as theorists present and discuss the status of art-science and/or art & technology. The conference language is English. Proposals must be sent electronically through the EasyChair submissions system until January 31st, 2023.

A new international and transdisciplinary Master of Arts programme on the topic of Art, Science and Health will be showcased, tested and evaluated during a one-week Pilot Course held online in English language for a maximum of 40 participants, from Monday, November 7, to Friday, November 11, 2022, every day from 5.00 p.m. CET. Participation is free of admission.

Adam Zaretsky, Ph.D., a member of the InArts Lab working group in the Rewilding Cultures project, and a post-doctoral researcher in the Hub of Art Laboratories (HAL) of the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University, was among the participants in the recent Electric Wonderland summer camp (Croatia, 5-11 August), an event that was carried out within the framework of the abovementioned project. Rewilding cultures was developed by the Feral Labs Network and was co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union, bringing together eight institutions from as many countries, all with a shared interest in the confluence of art, science and technology.
