This competition is open to artists to propose innovative concepts and ideas in art and technology. To be considered for this opportunity, artists are invited to submit a short video introducing themselves and describing the themes they would like to investigate during their residency. The call opens for entries closes at 23:59 CEST (21:59 GMT) on 6th June.

Eight unique women will be awarded by the "EXALEIPTRON" Piraeus Group Women in Arts, Letters, Culture, Science. Marianna Strapatsaki, artist and former Associate Professor of the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University, will be awarded with the Prize for the Art of New Media. 

Dr Adam Zaretsky, well-known bioartist and professor at Marist College, New York, USA, will perform a Bioart workshop, within the 10th Audiovisual Arts Festival, taking place in Corfu during May 2016.

Subtle Technologies seeks submissions of video art and animation that explore or expand the definition of the digital textile and speculate its future. Selected videos will be presented in the program Cloaked In Code and will be screened in Toronto on May 13th, 2016 during Future Proof, a wearable technology fashion show as part of the 19th Annual Subtle Technologies Festival. Deadline: Friday April 1st, 2016
