AV-school, the series of seminars and workshops of the Audiovisual Arts Festival, is taking place online this year from 24 to 27 May 2021. Registration in both workshops and seminars is free and attendees will be provided with a certificate of attendance.

FACTT 20/21: Trans-disciplinary & Trans-national Festival of Art & Science opens on January 28 2021, at 8.30 PM (GMT) and will be exhibited online during 2021 with different events to be announced taking place throughout the year across continents.

The Museum of the Ionian University and the Interactive Arts Laboratory organize online tribute for the eighty years since the death of JAMES JOYCE on Wednesday January 13th, 2021. The artist and director Vouvoula Skoura curates the tribute.

Τhe fourth international conference "Taboo - Transgression - Transcendence in Art & Science" will take place November 26–28, 2020, exclusively online as TTT2020 Vienna/Online, an umbilical cord between what would be and what it is. TTT2020 Vienna/Online will have one unique streaming channel with a 12 hours program/day followed by a recorded re-stream for audiences in other time zones. This means 24h a day for three days non-stop! 

On October 14th, 2020 (time 10:15-11:45 EDT), Assistant Professor Dalila Honorato, coordinator of the art & science research group at the InArts Lab of the Ionian University, participates as a speaker at the conference ISEA2020 ONLINE "Why Sentience?".

GOLEM - To be generative in solidarity rather than creative in solitude is an online collective performance event, curated by the collaborator of InArts Francesco Kiais. The virtual exhibition space will open to the public on June 5, with the vernissage at 18.00 GMT+3, which will be a presentation of the guests’ of honor participating artworks. On June the 6th and 7th the virtual exhibition space will be open to the public where an archive of the participating works will be presented.

On Saturday, March 7, at 8:30 pm, Mr. Francesco Kiais, member of the InArts Lab, will be the guest artist at the "Simia Stixis" Performance cycle.

Assistant Professor of the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University and founding member of InArts Lab Dalila Honorato participates in the collective book CorpoIMAGEM Representações do Corpo na Ciência e na Arte published as part of the research project "Image in Science and Art" developed by the Center for Philosophy of the University of Lisbon.

Assistant Professor of the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University and founding member of InArts Lab Dalila Honorato participates in the exhibition "Com(posto)" gathering the works of the year of 2019’s activities at Cultivamos Cultura in Portugal. The exhibition takes place 6th – 26th February 2020 at the  Faculty of Fine Arts Gallery of the University of Lisbon.

The artist Francesco Kiàis, collaborator of InArts Lab, has been invited at the VENICE INTERNATIONAL PERFORMANCE ART WEEK (Venice, 15-18/1/2020). The Department of Audio and Visual Arts and the Interactive Arts Lab (InArts) will collaborate as cultural partners.
