On June 1-3, a meeting of the ASH-MA consortium for the design of a new Art, Science & Health MA program with participants from Croatia, Serbia and Greece, will take place in Corfu. 

In the next 15 months and with the support of EU through Erasmus Mundus Design Measures, Academy of Fine Arts (University of Zagreb, Croatia), Department of Audio and Visual Arts (Ionian  University, Greece), Faculty of Media and Communication (Singidunum University, Serbia) and NGO KONTEJNER (Croatia) will work together to create a completely new two-year international MA programme aiming to intensify the role of art research and practice in health humanities.

Today, Tuesday 29 March 2022, 4:00pm (classroom YK2), as part of the course "THE848 Hybrid Arts Practices", we will have the pleasure to host Dr. Adam Zaretsky with us on a guest lecture entitled “Bio Data Body Compost". The talk will be coordinated by the instructors of the course, Dr. Tania Tsiridou and Dr. Dalila Honorato.

Ms. Dalila Honorato, Associate Professor of the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University, was one of the participants in an exhibition by the COPRAXIS project. The exhibition took place between the 5th and 25th of March at Ectopia (Lisbon) and continues now between the 1st and 22nd April at i3S (Porto).

Members of the InArts Lab - Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University Dr. Dalila Honorato, Ms. Stella Lamboura, Ms. Marily Argyrokastriti and collaborating artist Dr. Adam Zaretsky participated in the kick-off meeting for the designing of the new international Master of Arts Programme “Art, Science and Health” (ASH ΜΑ), which took place 23-25 February 2022 in Zagreb.

The Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University has been named a partner of the third FEMeeting – Women in Art, Science and Technology Conference. The conference will be taking place between 12 and 17 September 2022, in Évora, Portugal. FEMeeting was first organized in 2017, the original idea coming from artist Marta de Menezes and Dalila Honorato, Associate Professor of the aforementioned Department of Audio and Visual Arts.

On November 26th, 2021 (time 19:00-19:45 CET), in the framework of the program Re͏s͏e͏a͏r͏c͏h͏ p͏r͏a͏c͏t͏i͏c͏e͏s͏ i͏n͏ a͏r͏t͏, d͏e͏s͏i͏g͏n͏ a͏n͏d͏ a͏r͏c͏h͏i͏t͏e͏c͏t͏u͏r͏e͏ #2, Associate Professor Dalila Honorato, coordinator of the art & science research group at the InArts Lab of the Dept. Audio & Visual Arts of the Ionian University, participates as a speaker with Dr. Olga Majcen Linn in the theme "Witchcraft-Science-Health".

On Thursday, November 25th, 10:00am (classroom 11), as part of the course "THE906-Practice of Exhibition Design", we will have the pleasure to have Dr Adam Zaretsky, collaborating artist of InArts Lab, at the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University on a guest lecture entitled “IT'S ALIVE! Understanding bio-art: art and biology exhibited”.

Associate Professor of the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University and founding member of InArts Lab Dalila Honorato participates in the exhibition "Burnt Paths" which takes place at Ectopia – Laboratory of Experimental Art until December 20^th, 2021.

Στόχος της πρόσκλησης είναι οι φοιτητές που ενδιαφέρονται για τους συγκεκριμένους τομείς να βρουν πρόσφορο έδαφος δραστηριοποίησης, υπό την υποστήριξη στελεχών της ερευνητικής ομάδας ώστε να επικεντρωθούν σε σύγχρονα αντικείμενα εφαρμοσμένης έρευνας και παράλληλα να προετοιμαστούν για την παρουσίαση της έρευνας και των έργων τους σε επιστημονικά συνέδρια και περιοδικά.

Το CHIGreece 2021 αποτελεί το πρώτο διεθνές Συνέδριο του Ελληνικού ACM SIGCHI Chapter και πρόκειται να πραγματοποιηθεί διαδικτυακά στις 25-27 Νοεμβρίου 2021. Μέλη του εργαστηρίου InArts έχουν συμβάλει στην τεχνική υλοποίηση του ιστοχώρου του Συνεδρίου.

On September 30th, 2021 (time 9:00-10:30 EDT), Associate Professor Dalila Honorato, coordinator of the art & science research group at the InArts Lab of the Dept. Audio & Visual Arts of the Ionian University, participates as a speaker at the conference SLSA2021 ONLINE "Energy".
