The artist Francesco Kiàis, collaborator of InArts Lab, has been invited at the VENICE INTERNATIONAL PERFORMANCE ART WEEK (Venice, 15-18/1/2020). The Department of Audio and Visual Arts and the Interactive Arts Lab (InArts) will collaborate as cultural partners.

Founding member of InArts Lab Assistant Professor Dalila Honorato participates in the exhibition "Trans(form)ar" gathering the works of the year of 2019’s activities at Cultivamos Cultura in Portugal.

The ebook with the proceedings of the interdisciplinary conference Taboo-Transgression-Transcendence in Art & Science 2018 was published by the Ionian University - Department of Audio & Visual Arts in November 2019. Edited by Dalila Honorato, María Antonia González Valerio, Marta de Menezes and Andreas Giannakoulopoulos, this is the second and main core of the presentations of TTT2018.

On October 17th, 2019 took place the talk “Meat, Metal & Code: The Comatose, the Cadaver& the Chimera” by Honorary Doctorate of the Department of Audio & Visual Arts of the Ionian University, performance artist Stelarc, at the MOMus-Museum of Contemporary Art. This presentation, part of the program of the 7th Thessaloniki Biennale where Stelarc is honored artist, was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Dalila Honorato, representing the Department of Audio & Visual Arts.

The fourth international conference "Taboo - Transgression - Transcendence in Art & Science", supported by the Department of Audio & Visual Arts of the Ionian University since its beginning in 2016, will take place November 26–28, 2020, in Austria, hosted by the University of Applied Arts Vienna.  Deadline for proposals: March 31, 2020.

"Secretions: the semiotics of arousal" was the title of the talk by Dr. Dalila Honorato presented at the conference "Untie the Knot: Redefining Normativity in Love".

On September 6th, 2019,  Assistant Professor Dalila Honorato, coordinator of the art & science research group at the InArts Lab of the Ionian University, presented with Professor Mark Lipton of the University of Guelph, Canada, the paper "Filth Attraction: microbiology-themed fiction vs. cleaning reality shows" at the annual conference 4S - Society for Social Studies of Science.

In August 2019 Assistant Professor Dr. Dalila Honorato was a guest lecturer at the Facultad de Filosofía y Letras, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Mexico, on the subject "semiotics of the uncanny".

In July 2019, Dalila Honorato, coordinator of the research group in art & science at the InArts Lab of the Ionian University, was invited to participate in fivewordsforthefuture, a project by Noema Lab, Italy.

Bill Psarras presents his new work ‘Territorial Poetics’, a neon light installation, has been shortlisted and awarded for the forthcoming exhibition ‘Enclosures | Pass-throughs’ organized by Thessaloniki Concert Hall. Exhibition will take place on the outdoor space of TCH.

The first part of the proceedings of TTT2018 has been released by Intellect Books as a special issue of Technoetic Arts, vol. 16 issue 3.

Member of the scientific committee of the 21st International Consciousness Reframed Conference, titled "Sentient States: Bio-mind and Techno-nature", which took place June 6th-8th, 2019 at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa - Porto, was Assistant Professor Dalila Honorato, coordinator of the art & science research group at the InArts Lab of the Ionian University.
