Το 13ο ATHENS ANIMFEST [15-18 Μαρτίου 2018] διοργανώνεται για μια ακόμη χρονιά στην Αθήνα με περισσότερες από 350 ταινίες animation μικρού μήκους από την Ελλάδα και άλλες 51 χώρες. Αξίζει να σημειωθεί ότι στο πρόγραμμά του εντάσσονται έργα αποφοίτων και φοιτητών του Τμήματος Τεχνών Ήχου και Εικόνας του Ιονίου Πανεπιστημίου.

Απογευματινές Κυριακάτικες προβολές animation στον κινηματογράφο Δαναό (Λ. Κηφισίας 109, Αθήνα), από τα Ελληνικά φεστιβάλ και σχολές, από την Κυριακή 11 Μαρτίου έως και Κυριακή 1 Απριλίου 2018. Η προβολή με συμμετοχή έργων του Τμήματος Τεχνών Ήχου και Εικόνας θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Κυριακή 25 Μαρτίου 2018.

FEMeeting 2018 is a conference co-organised by Cultivamos Cultura, CIC Digital of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa and Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa. Assistant Professor and member of the InArts Lab Dalila Honorato participated as guest speaker in the round table with theme "Do CRISPR monsters dream of synthetic futures", at The Fields Institute for Research in Mathematical Sciences, Toronto, on January 26th, 2018.

On January 17th, 2018,  Assistant Professor Dalila Honorato, coordinator of the art & science research group at the InArts Lab of the Ionian University, participated in the panel discussion "Imagin(in)g Biologies", at the University of Michigan.

Bill Psarras delivered a speech entitled ‘Geohumanities and performance art: The politics of activating bodies and places in intermedia ways‘ at ‘The Politics of Space and the Humanities International Conference‘, which took place from the 15th to the 17th of December 2017 in Thessaloniki in collaboration to Fulbright Foundation and Hellenic Association of American Studies.

Bill Psarras delivered a speech entitled ‘Spatial Poetics and the City: Glocal imaginaries in site-specific walking performance‘ at Radical Cities, Radical Narratives International Conference, which took place on 20th of October 2017 in London in collaboration with Dept. of English and Center for the Geohumanities – Royal Holloway University of London.

Dalila Honorato, member of the Interactive Arts Laboratory, participates in the exhibition Collision from December 14th, 2017 to January 13th, 2018.
